At Matara we can create a variety of versatile spaces, which can comfortably accommodate groups numbering from 15 to 150 people.

At Matara, we respect all faiths and beliefs. Our aim is to provide an uplifting oasis of beauty and calm to celebrate life. We host weddings, anniversaries, birthdays, and funeral gatherings, as well as business events of all kinds.

You will see  an Eastern and Western fusion in the architecture, interiors and landscaping inspired by Eastern meditative qualities as well as Western philosophy, integrating the inner and outer worlds.

Nourishing the body

We have a full range of catering facilities providing food with fun and flair, grown, prepared and served with love and care like everything else at Matara. Our food is fresh, seasonal and local – organic wherever possible. Vegetarian, vegan and other diets are fully catered for.

Sustaining the environment

We recycle our water though our reed bed pond system, 100% green electricity, plant trees to offset carbon emissions, create wild life habitat.
