• The grey water of the Matara centre is recycled through our reed bed pond.
• Paper, food , cans, glass and plastics are recycled.
• We have an Alistair Sawday ethical award.
• Land is planted to encourage wildlife.
• Our food is fresh, seasonal, local, organic and free from animal cruelty.
• We have planted hundreds of trees including oaks.
• Newly-married couples can plant their own tree.
• We purchase as many renewable, environmentally-friendly, ethical and organic products as possible.
