Life Affirming Conversations

Conversation is dying. It needs to revive, and raillery can help it recover.

What an unusual and unfamiliar word raillery is and, at first glance, a strange choice for a transmodern keyword.  What is Raillery?  Raillery is an obsolete 18th Century word derived from the French raillerie, from Old French railler, meaning to tease.  The return of raillery and attentive listening with good-humoured disagreement could make our world a better place.

There are some excellent attempts to revive the art of conversation. Why not participate and explore ours?

We invite you to send your own conversations to alice@matara.co.uk. We will share those we can.
