Matara welcomes you to celebrate special mile stones in your life, from naming ceremonies, wedding anniversaries and birthday’s. We can accommodate 16 people in Kingscote Park House which is ideal for small family gatherings with additional guests up to 30. Kingscote Park House is a wonderful family home and a great place to entertain.
The Matara Centre can accommodate up to 150 guests for a sit down meal and up to 200 guests for evening entertainment. During the summer you can enjoy outside dinning within our courtyards or enjoy picnics, buffets and hog roasts with the grounds of Matara.
Our guests love to wonder through the woodlands and parklands. This is truly a place to relax make your heart sing and let your sprit soar. You may wish to dedicate a tree to commemorate your special celebration, over the next several years the guests at Matara will collectively plant a unity grove compressing of Sliver Birch, Acer’s, Oak trees and Magnolia’s. There is something special to come back at a later date after the celebration and see the trees mature, many of guests are attracted back year after year to enjoy a simple picnic in the grounds with close friends and family.
