Kingscote Park House has an affinity with wedding celebrations and romance.
Edward
Jenner, the inventor of the
small pox vaccination, was an
avid hot air balloonist. One day
he set out from Berkeley Castle
in his balloon to explore the
beauty of the Gloucestershire
countryside and the Cotswold
Hills. His balloon started to
lose altitude and landed in the
fields at Kingscote Park. The
Kingscote Family set off to see
the commotion that was happening
and when Edward and Katherine
Kingscote met it was love at
first sight.
Our Brides and Grooms and their families enjoy relaxing in the House prior to their wedding ceremony and the house itself was recently licensed for civil marriages and commitment ceremonies
Kingscote Park House is a welcoming private family home with stunning views over the gardens and parklands out of every room. Each room has been beautifully decorated in an informal and relaxed way; there is an extensive post impressionist art collection throughout the house.
Most people make themselves at home in the gorgeous country kitchen and dining area, which overlooks a walled kitchen garden, that provides relaxation and outdoor dining during sunny days. The library music room provides an eclectic and large collection of music. For a bit of fun, roll out Geoffrey’s juke box, select your favourite golden oldies and enjoy a trip down memory lane. Our warm and comfortable reception rooms are a perfect place to relax and unwind with accommodation for up to 16 guests in the 8 elegant bedrooms – 6 doubles and 2 twins.
Kingscote Park
is also a haven where you can
explore the local community. We will
provide you with a bespoke insider's
guide and maps to the Cotswolds
Hills and surrounding areas so you
can experience something unique and
memorable.
Our
accommodation is available for all special family celebrations.
